Frequently Asked Questions

How do I wash Lovely Linens?

Wash at a maximum of 60 degrees with a mild detergent that doesn't contain bleach.

Can I tumble dry Lovely Linen products?

Yes, Lovely Linens can be tumble dried on a light setting that is not too hot. Take the items out before they are fully dry and leave them to air dry out of the sun.

How can I reduce lint from linen items after washing?

Washing linen will naturally leave lint for the first few times. Ironing the item once will help to reduce the amount of lint. It is also best not to mix linen with other items in the wash as it can transfer lint.

Should I iron Lovely Linen to keep it soft?

While you can iron it once to reduce initial lint, Lovely Linens are designed for a relaxed look. Taking them out of the tumble dryer slightly damp and air-drying helps maintain their beautiful, natural texture without the need for regular ironing.

Can I stack my coloured glassware in the cupboards?

No. Because the Zafferano coloured glassware is handmade, each piece is unique in size and shape. They cannot be safely stacked when packing away.

Can I pour boiling water into the coloured glassware?

Delicate, handmade glassware should not be subjected to extreme temperature changes, as thermal shock can cause the glass to crack or break.

How do I care for Chamois kitchen towels?

Chamois cotton and linen kitchen towels can be hand washed or machine washed on a short, gentle cycle at 40 degrees. Do not soak for long periods or use bleach, and hang in the shade to dry.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about a kitchenware purchase?

We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, but we may offer an exchange or credit note if notified within 24 hours. The item must be unused and in original packaging. Note that table linen cannot be returned for a change of mind.
