Head designer Federico de Majo grew up on Murano and learnt his craft in the family’s glass factory. Today his inspiring glassware designs sit on some of the best restaurant tables across Europe and the USA.

When necessity forced him to move his volume work out of Italy he took on the role of mentor, teaching his art to a new generation of glass blowers across Eastern Europe and Asia.

This allows him to continue producing his signature collections of coloured glass and wine glasses to satisfy a more price conscious market while allowing him to pursue his bespoke work on his beloved Murano. His GOTI collection is produced at home on Murano!

Zafferano’s portable lamps-a-porter range started with the now iconic POLDINA PRO and has grown into a large collection featuring many new designs and colours for a wide range of applications. Their innovative designs and quality sets them apart from the rest and they are now seen as the global leader in portable lighting solutions that allow absolute freedom of placement to illuminate every activity inside or out.
