Are Zafferano coloured glassware dishwashers safe?

Yes, all Zafferano glassware is dishwasher safe up to 60 degrees. However, please take care when packing the dishwasher to avoid overcrowding and items hitting together.

Can Zafferano glassware be stacked in the cupboard?

No. Because the coloured glassware is handmade, each piece is unique. Size and shape will vary from piece to piece, and so they cannot be stacked together when packing away.

How do we wash and care for Zafferano wine glasses?

All our wine glasses can be washed in the dishwasher up to 60 degrees. Zafferano stemware features high quality 'pulled stems' (the stem is one piece of glass with the bowl). Polishing Tip: Take care when polishing your stemware not to twist the stem and bowl of the glass in opposite directions.

How long do Zafferano portable lamps last before needing a recharge?

All Zafferano lamps are rechargeable. Once fully charged, they will last for at least 9 hours. They will last even longer if you select a dimmer setting. Simply recharge overnight, and the light will be ready again for the next day.

How long do portable lamps last outside?

All Zafferano portable lamps (like the Poldina Pro) are rechargeable and will last for at least 9 hours on a full charge, or longer on a dimmer setting. Simply recharge them overnight.

Are tablecloths and napkins suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, our Chamois and Lovely Linen textiles are great for alfresco dining. However, to preserve the colors especially for hand block printed items hang them in the shade to dry and store them out of direct sunlight when not in use.

Can I use the indoor ceramics for outdoor dining?

Absolutely, Sthål and Civ'ita ceramics are perfect for alfresco dining. Sthål pieces are even ovenproof up to 200 degrees, making them ideal for bringing warm dishes directly to the outdoor table.

Are the Zafferano portable lamps waterproof?

Yes! For items like the Party or Goti Di Murano Tumblers, if you select the "Mix it up" colour variant, you can write your preferred combination of colours in the "Add order notes" section at check-out.

Can I mix and match colours for my dinnerware or glassware?

Yes! If you select the "Mix it up" colour option for glassware. For dinnerware, you can build your own bespoke collection by purchasing individual pieces in various colours.

Is the dinnerware suitable for everyday use and dishwasher safe?

Yes, all ceramics and Zafferano glassware are dishwasher safe up to 60 degrees. Please ensure the dishwasher is not overcrowded to prevent items from hitting together.

Are the plates and bowls ovenproof?

Sthål ceramics are safe in the oven up to 200 degrees (perfect for oven-to-table cooking). Civ'ita ceramics can only be warmed in the oven and are not suitable for high-temperature cooking. Both are microwave safe.

How should I wash and polish my wine glasses?

Wine glasses can be washed in the dishwasher up to 60 degrees. When polishing Zafferano stemware, be very careful not to twist the stem and the bowl in opposite directions to prevent breakages of the 'pulled stems'.

Can I stack my coloured glassware in the cupboards?

No. Because the Zafferano coloured glassware is handmade, each piece is unique in size and shape. They cannot be safely stacked when packing away.

Can I pour boiling water into the coloured glassware?

Delicate, handmade glassware should not be subjected to extreme temperature changes, as thermal shock can cause the glass to crack or break.

How do I care for Chamois kitchen towels?

Chamois cotton and linen kitchen towels can be hand washed or machine washed on a short, gentle cycle at 40 degrees. Do not soak for long periods or use bleach, and hang in the shade to dry.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about a kitchenware purchase?

We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, but we may offer an exchange or credit note if notified within 24 hours. The item must be unused and in original packaging. Note that table linen cannot be returned for a change of mind.
