How do I care for Chamois hand block printed items?

All Chamois products in cotton and linen can be hand washed or machine washed using a short, gentle cycle for silk/wool.

  • 30 degrees for tablecloths.
  • 40 degrees for napkins and kitchen towels.
  • Items that are hand block printed should not be soaked for lengthy periods. Do not use a washing liquid or powder that contains bleach. Hang in the shade to dry (tumble drying is not recommended). Roll your clothes and store them in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
Can I soak or bleach Chamois products?

No. All items that are hand block printed should not be soaked for lengthy periods of time, and do not use a washing liquid/powder that contains bleach.

How should I dry my Chamois textiles?

Hang your Chamois items in the shade to dry. It is recommended not to tumble dry them.

What is the best way to store Chamois clothes?

To preserve them best, roll your clothes and store them in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

How do I care for the linen throws, cushions, and curtains?

For Lovely Linens, wash at a maximum of 60 degrees with a mild, bleach-free detergent. Tumble dry on a light heat setting, removing them before they are fully dry to air dry out of the sun.

Will the linen items leave lint on my furniture or bedding?

Washing linen will leave lint for the first few times. Ironing the item once will help to reduce the amount of lint. It is best practice to wash linen separately from other items.

What is the return policy for cushions and soft furnishings?

Please choose carefully. Cushion covers, bedding, and soft furnishings are generally not eligible for return or exchange if you simply change your mind.

Can I purchase vintage items for my living space?

Yes, we have a curated Vintage Collection. Please note that vintage items are sold as-is and are not eligible for return if you change your mind.

Can I mix and match colours for my dinnerware or glassware?

Yes! If you select the "Mix it up" colour option for glassware. For dinnerware, you can build your own bespoke collection by purchasing individual pieces in various colours.

Is the dinnerware suitable for everyday use and dishwasher safe?

Yes, all ceramics and Zafferano glassware are dishwasher safe up to 60 degrees. Please ensure the dishwasher is not overcrowded to prevent items from hitting together.

Are the plates and bowls ovenproof?

Sthål ceramics are safe in the oven up to 200 degrees (perfect for oven-to-table cooking). Civ'ita ceramics can only be warmed in the oven and are not suitable for high-temperature cooking. Both are microwave safe.

How should I wash and polish my wine glasses?

Wine glasses can be washed in the dishwasher up to 60 degrees. When polishing Zafferano stemware, be very careful not to twist the stem and the bowl in opposite directions to prevent breakages of the 'pulled stems'.
